Dear Members of the Extremadura Regional Science Association (AExCR),

On behalf of the new Board, I am pleased to present this platform, which we hope will serve as a meeting point and a tool to enhance collaboration among all members, as well as for those interested in research and the dissemination of scientific knowledge related to regional science.

This Board is committed to continuing the work accomplished to date, with the objective of fostering discussion, analysis, and research in the context of regional science, allowing us to apply our research efforts for the betterment of our region. Therefore, we will promote dialogue and the exchange of experiences among all stakeholders interested in regional issues, whether from a research, professional, business, or institutional standpoint.

Our primary objectives for this new phase include conducting outreach activities to showcase the opportunities offered by AExCR to all those interested in regional science, particularly in Extremadura, in order to expand our membership. Additionally, we will plan scientific activities, including conferences and seminars.

On behalf of the Board, we encourage you to actively participate in our activities as members and to propose any initiatives that align with the association’s areas of interest.
