Dear friends:
Welcome to the Extremadura Association of Regional Science (AExCR), constituted as a territorial section of the Spanish Association of Regional Science, AECR.

The purpose of the AExCR is to promote discussion, analysis and research in the field of Regional Science and its final application for the benefit of the territory. To do this, we seek to promote the exchange of experiences and dialogue between all those agents interested in territorial issues, both from an academic or research perspective, as well as from a professional, business or institutional perspective, that ultimately contribute to the economic and social progress of our region.

Furthermore, with the planning of new activities (conferences, colloquia or seminars) we want to definitively reactivate the AExCR and favor the creation of that common space for any contribution that enriches the regional analysis.

With these objectives, we have formed a young, dynamic and qualified candidate to promote research in the field of regional science and encourage this forum for debate on the problems that affect and interest the Region.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we want to encourage you to participate in our activities and to ask any questions, proposals or initiatives related to the areas of interest of the association.
